Know-your-customer

Every seller and every consignment is subject to a know-your-customer review before a trial proceeds, and refinery approval is obtained for every new supplier. Chain of supply information is required to confirm the consignment is not of criminal origin and does not involve child labour.

Documentation on trial consignments

Trials of 10 kg or less require a signed contract, basic seller identification and consignment documents. Larger or subsequent consignments require the fuller documentation set out in the contract.

Sanctions screening

We accept consignments from any African country not subject to United Nations sanctions. Sellers and their beneficial owners are screened against applicable sanctions lists before a contract is issued.

Independent verification

The buyer never has access to or handles a consignment directly. All assaying and settlement calculations are performed by the refinery, an independent party, with a copy of the assay report provided to both buyer and seller.

Information submitted through the contact form is used solely to assess and respond to your enquiry. It is not sold, and is shared only with the parties strictly necessary to process a consignment: refinery, clearing agent, security logistics and banks.
